Yes you can use it for once off payments and recurring subscription payments. The Affiliate will track both types of payments when using it with WishList.

how easy is it to integrate your affiliate software with wishilst members? will it work for one off payments and recurring subscription products? what steps would be required to have integration working properly? we are only using paypal for payments

I just wanted to say the T & T support team is off the hook . I was having a problem (that my theme was causing) with the WP Affiliate Plugin. The T&T team hooked a brother up and fixed the problem for me.

@Lem, Yes your Affiliates can send the customer to any page on your site (where the Affiliate plugin is installed). The sale will be tracked site wide for as long as the cookie is present and active.

At this time there is only 2 tier commission available with the WooCommerce integration.

@Vit, yeah you can track referral even if you are not selling membership for a fee. Usually money is used to give reward for a referral but if you want to give something else as a reward that’s fine too. The affiliate plugin is capable of tracking referrals. Once you integrate this plugin with one of the solutions listed under the integration section of our documentation you will be able to track the referrals on your site. You can then decide to reward the referrals however you want to reward them.

So if you are not a developer then the important thing to understand is that this affiliate plugin will need to be integrated with the solution that you will be using to sell memberships. Make sure to check the integration options of our documentation from the following link and see if there is one available for what you intend to use:

Hi.
So lucky I’ve come across this plugin… I really want to use it. But I am just wondering. If I have a free membership site can I use this plugin to track referrals??
After doing a bit of research i can see that the plugin only tracks clicks and sales… but i dont want to sell anything on my site.

All I want is my members of my free membership to refer other members. Then I can check which members are the biggest promoters and reward them.

Is this possible?

@Kai, Yes you can modify the code. The Affiliate is an open source plugin so you can make modifications as you need to.

I want a function, that every affiliate can enter a html-code of his choice that will be displayed on the sales page…. ?

Can the administrator manually change the number of sales made by an affiliate during a period ? = does the administrator manually validates the sales before sending payments to affiliates ?

@Ben, Yes, no matter where the customer lands on the site the sale will be tracked. The can browse around and even leave the site and come back. The sale will be tracked as long as the cookie is present and active (You can set the lifetime of the cookie in the Affiliate settings).

1. The Affiliate does not integrate with the eMember directly it does this though the eStore or PayPal integration options.
2. When used with the eStore or PayPal directly then you can specify for the Affiliate to be paid commission on the recurring payment.
